We are so pleased to announce the Grand Opening of our second playground at Pythagoras Academy. This playground was constructed for our JK and kindergarten students and was made possible through the generous donations of Pythagoras Academy parents and hard work of PAPO (Pythagoras Academy Parents Organization) volunteers. The JK students were the first children to explore this playground. However, the first adult to explore the playground was Jessee Liu, the treasurer of PAPO. The JK students have reported back that this is an awesome playground and they will make full use of it. We are sure the kindergarten students will feel the same way.

On the morning of Oct. 31st, 2018, our day started with a costume parade throughout the school. The grade two classes picked up the JK classes first and then moved onto the elementary hallway.

We gathered in the gym for a special Halloween assembly, led by grade two students. The grade two students shared about how our school raised money for National Unicef Day, performed a Halloween poem, and danced their hearts out to “Ghostbusters”. Fabulous job, grade twos!

In the afternoon, classes had Halloween parties, filled with delicious snacks, fun games, crafts, and spooky movies.

Each class also decorated or carved a pumpkin and made a “word cloud” with words that described their pumpkin. It was amazing to see how unique each pumpkin turned out!

Check out some of the neat costumes that staff and students wore!

Thank you to all parents and staff for making the day so special!
