The Grade 6/7 class went on a field trip to the Titanic Exhibition at Lipont Place on Thursday, December 13th. We explored the incredible collection of primary sources and artifacts from the wreck of the Titanic, and touched an iceberg. The grade 6/7’s learned about the migration process of 12 individuals through the boarding cards we were presented at the beginning of our journey through the exhibition. We also learned about the vast number of people who were lost as the ship went down and how hubris was the primary cause of the wreck.
